YAK! There's a New Yarn Shop in Town

New kid on the block, online shop YAK was set up recently by Kate Metherell, a maker with a huge appreciation for the art and process of knitting. Her aim in setting YAK up was to inspire people by providing a place to explore some of the best tools and most exquisite yarns on the market.

YAK’s online shop has a carefully selected range of products which celebrates independent British designers, spinners and hand dyers from across the UK as well as some of the most beautiful yarns from further afield.  

They also have a great range of knitting tools and accessories; there is something to suit any knitter’s or crocheter’s style!

YAK will have a stall in the market place at Unwind Brighton where they will be showcasing some exciting products specially for the festival.  Kate says to stay tuned to the YAK blog for further details. Later this year YAK will be opening real doors in Brighton, and we can't wait!
